Discover a holiday to treasure at Hunting Hall's very special, award-winning, green cottages or lovingly hand-crafted shepherd’s hut.
Tucked away in a remote part of North Northumberland at Hunting Hall Farm, two beautiful, Grade II listed, stone cottages have been lovingly restored with traditional exposed beams and open fires. Experience the luxury of beds dressed with deep feather duvets, sumptuous organic cotton bed linen and hand stitched quilts.
The craftsmen built shepherd’s hut stands in a young orchard sown with wildflowers. Here you can revel in cosy comfort whilst enjoying fabulous nature on your doorstep. It is equipped with en-suite, kitchen and underfloor heating, with a hobbit wood burning stove to add a little magic to those star-studded velvet evenings.
Hunting Hall is a wonderful place to stay. On the story-book traditional farm there are always animals to see; a Middle White sow in a barn full of straw with piglets playing hide-and-seek, hens, bantams, geese, and ducks waddling about. There are acres of farmland to explore along a farm trail winding through wildflower edged fields that are a haven for wildlife.
Close by is the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the dramatic coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Looking after our wonderful natural heritage and protecting our environment is at the heart of all we do at Hunting Hall.
"A green ethos runs through the whole business, but for the visiting guests, it isn't 'in-your-face' it's more a way of life - truly inspirational"
