Stay at Hunting Hall

... and discover somewhere very special

Tucked away in our glorious Northumbrian countryside, you’ll find award-winning Hunting Hall farm. Here, where nature is cared for, stepping straight from your door you can explore fields sown with swathes of wildflowers, and a wealth of wildlife. In the picture-book farmyard there are always animals to see: a Saddleback sow in a barn full of straw, a pair of white geese waddling home and stunningly beautiful peacocks twitching shimmering tails. Native breed cattle and sheep graze by a small stream and two rescue donkeys lean lazily over a farm gate.

Overlooking this quiet, organic farm stand three traditional farmworkers' stone cottages. Restored with love and care to leave a gentle environmental footprint, the cottages have exposed beams, real fires and many original features. Experience the luxury of beds dressed with deep feather duvets and sumptuous organic cotton bed linen and discover the many thoughtful touches that are part of a wonderful welcome to this special place.

The craftsmen built shepherd’s hut stands in a young orchard sown with wildflowers. Here you can revel in cosy comfort whilst enjoying fabulous nature on your doorstep. This glorious little home has an en-suite shower room, kitchen, electric heating and a hobbit wood burning stove to add a little magic to those star-studded evenings.

Close by are the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the dramatic coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Looking after our wonderful natural heritage and protecting our environment is at the heart of all we do at Hunting Hall.
