Solar Panels

The panels contain fluid which is heated by the warmth of the sun. This is pumped to a coil in the hot water cylinder which heats all the water that comes out of the taps. On a sunny day the water can get very hot and even on dull days the water is warm. On a bright day in December the temperature in the cylinder was 62°C (too hot to put your hands underneath!).
